Lyn and I welcome the opportunity to briefly bring you up to date
with what has been happening within our family during last twelve months.
Eldest grandson Tom (25 in January) who is in Sweden with Amelie is in the
process of applying for permanent residency so we don't know how long it
will be before we see him again however the age of technology (Skype etc)
does certainly help in a small way to overcome the tyranny of distance.
Tom will be spending this Christmas in Gothenburg with Carolyn and Amelie's family.
Second grandson Joe is doing Project Management with VisionStream
who are supporting him while he continues his University studies.
We see a lot of Joe (loves his grandmothers cooking) and are
always pleased to see him when he visits.
Georgina our eldest granddaughter has ended the year well and
will be commencing a Commerce Degree at
Melbourne University in the New Year.
Youngest granddaughter Susannah has just completed year 9
at MLC where she continues to do well
Third grandson Nick soon to be 17 has been elected
House Vice captain at Trinity for 2017.
Nick is still coming to grips with the Bulldogs missing the finals
for the first time since 2016 and like myself enjoyed our
time as Reigning Premiers for all but one game of 2017.
Tim, who will be 10 in March is also at Trinity and will be going into
Grade 4 in 2018. Tim who favors the Cats is looking
forward to the day that Selwood Dangerfield and Ablett
run through the Geelong midfield, (so his mother tells me).
Our own children Carolyn, Julie/Justin, Anthony/Megan are all
doing well and getting on with their busy lives and
generally speaking are blessed with good health.
We trust that this remains the case for many years to come.
We had a great day at Julie and Justin's on the 22nd Oct
when I celebrated my 8oth Birthday in their
lovely garden with family and friends.
Lyn and I are both well as we hope that you are.
We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and that
the New Year brings to you and your's
an abundance of Health and Happiness.

Best regards
Lyn & Alan
